2025 SDS All-College Team

The pipeline from Saskatchewan to the U.S. college ranks remains filled with top-notch talent.

As we take a look back at 2025, it was great to see so many athletes from our province contributing in meaningful ways to their respective programs south of the border.

We present the 2025 SDS All-College Team.

Wouters’ Splash

Cory Wouters was waiting for his inevitable midseason slump.

But it never happened and the Saskatoon native just kept rolling with it en route to being named the Region IX Player of the Year with McCook Community College.

Pedal to the Metal

If you don’t like where you’re at, just pedal harder.

That’s what Cory Wouters and Cam Marshak did for their teams in a recent high-scoring clash between McCook Community College Indians and the Colby Community College Trojans.

Wouters – a lefty pitcher and first baseman for the Indians – and Marshak, an infielder with the Trojans, both hit the cover off the ball during an April 1st game at Young Memorial Field in Colby, Kansas, where McCook College outlasted Colby College with a wild 23-22 win after nine innings.

The Saskatchewan products achieved the rare feat of hitting for the cycle. Even more impressive was that they did it competing against each other on the same diamond.

2024 SDS All-College Team

What a year it was for Saskatchewan baseball products who took their talents south of the border for their collegiate endeavours.

Several took home big awards from their schools and regions, while others captured major conference awards.

We take a look back at the top performances with our first annual SDS All-College Team.

After an award-winning freshman season with McCook Community College, Cory Wouters is back in his old stomping grounds with the Saskatoon Berries.

The hometown product is loving the opportunity to play with the expansion team, and joined us recently to talk about it for the latest installment of “7th Inning Stretch.”
