Now, she finds herself on the cusp of potentially being drafted into the new Women’s Pro Baseball League (WPBL) in November.

Between 1943 and 1954, more than 600 women took to the field as members of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, including 28 players and two chaperones from Saskatchewan.

The province just finished its best summer ever with a silver medal and three second-place finishes.
